Keeping warm in winter

Keeping warm in winter

Keeping warm on cold days is of paramount importance to me. I like to layer up, cosy up and wrap up in whatever I can lay my hands on at the same time as having a little fun. This outfit made itself really; the skirt is one of my favourites with it's easy, comfortable style. I love the way I can wear it on my waist or hips and how it sits where it's supposed to without trying to ride up and do it's own thing.

The pattern at a distance is one I classify as Aztec (no idea if this correct, just a notion I've stuck with) but there are several key colours which are perfect for autumn and winter; burgundy, orange as well as grey and white. The knitted tank, dark as it looks, is mitigated by the white and orange striped shirt and dark grey thermal tights complete the look. Along with my sturdy pair of Magnum boots which are second to none as my choice of practical walking footwear.
Accessories included my warm scarf, hat, gloves and coat, a gold heart necklace, plus my go-to choice of handbag.

Keep warm. Especially your heart.
