I'll put this one down as the time I accidentally dressed as Austin Powers.

The wool skirt was a find quite recently, it's a bold electric blue which caught my eye and I had to buy it. Winter skirts are a winner for me and I own precious few minis; mini skirts used to be a young teenage staple for me and I kind of miss wearing fun little skirts all the time.

It started so well; new skirt, fairly co-ordinating blue knee socks with trusty brown boots. The cream pussybow blouse is a favourite of mine, the floaty material and sleeves are right up my street. Knowing it would be cool out (a few weeks ago when it was cool and not mind-numbingly freezing) I absent-mindedly reached for my precious navy velvet jacket, thinking oh it's blue so it'll be appropriate.... We're walking through town when Chris asks why I've dressed as Austin Powers, way too late to do anything about it!

Being me, I kinda love it but since when have I been one for convention?
