No two moments are the same.
That's something I need to hold on to both personally and for the purposes of photography. Yesterday I went outside when the rain was threatening to pour under the charcoal skies; a double rainbow was reaching out above, which made me thankful I had looked up instead of sheltering under a hood and made a dash for it. In the other direction the large stretch of blue sky was blissfully unaware of the turmoil as it shone beams of sunlight through it's pearly white clouds. It made me smile to see such an unusual sight and reminded me to make the most of each moment because each one can never be repeated identically.

Very true! Similarly, although it was painful being pummelled with hail stones yesterday as I.dashed across the road without a coat to the supermarket, it was still an intriguing and different experience!
ReplyDeleteWe had a good rainbow last week, but not during the heavy rainstorms at the weekend
ReplyDeleteSo true. I don't know why we run from bad weather it can be as refreshing and enlivening as the good. Love that first pic - very atmospheric

I Love walking in the rain as long as it's not too heavy, and sitting in a caravan while it's raining, lovely photo of the rainbow with the two birds, have you noticed it's always lighter underneath the arch, the ancients thought that a rainbow was a path created by the Goddess Iris that linked the Earth with the Immortals.
ReplyDeleteI love to hear your comments xx
