Fields of yellow
Wednesday, April 19, 2017
It's that glorious time of year again when the landscape in Norfolk is a patchwork of greens, browns and luminous yellow. The scent, the scent, one which brings forth sweet memories of childhood for me. A strong fragrance nevertheless which can send suffers of hayfever into a spiral of doom but I just breathe it in and enjoy.
Nothing but love for the yellow stuff from me
Isn't it cheerful? Oil seed rape certainly brightens up the countryside.

I can't stand the smell but the sight of it always fills me with joy and wonder!
ReplyDeleteOne of the joys of the countryside this time of year ,adding to the many shades of green as the trees burst into life. Good luck in the UK blog awards .
ReplyDeleteWe have rape on three sides of the house this year, it's glorious! I don't notice the smell anymore but the sight of it delights me daily xx
