With an eye on the clock in the evenings we have just scraped a walk before dinner several times this week. Desperate to retain a little outdoor time after work we head out to savour the last of the day's light and reflect before bunkering down in the darkness once more. Two evenings I manged to capture a few pictures when the sky looked beautiful.


One night, two. Birds circling.





It will be the Autumnal Equinox on Sunday which makes me squirm with discomfort. The darkness will outweigh the light for the half year.
