The second up at the crack of dawn 10k wander took place over the August bank holiday and this time the light outdid itself. Sunbeams shone down and lured me down country lanes. There's something exciting about having somewhere to yourself - no cars, no walkers - where are they all? Asleep, I expect!
This was the time when it was roasting hot, even in the early hours. There was nearly a frost last week.




The light, the warmth! I would live this day over and over given the chance.
