Return to Poppy’s Wood

Back in October I visited Poppy's Wood when we were lucky enough to enjoy the sights of Autumn briefly before the torrential rain struck. A few weeks ago we made a return for a springtime stroll and what a good decision that was; the sun beamed down on us and the flora provided such a lovely backdrop for some outfit pictures.
There turned out to be two meadows of dandelion seed heads (I think calling them wishes is much nicer personally) and plenty of blossom, wildflowers and lush greenery to boot.

While I was there I filmed a short video, I hope you like it.

I'm pretty sure that Poppy's Wood is one of mid Norfolk's best kept secrets, there are no signs to get there and even the turn off the road is unmarked; the first time you know you're there is the map in the parking area. We only discovered it a couple of years ago by searching for somewhere else online and stumbling across it and even now I'm trying to find it online I can't find a useful reference to it.

Look out for some varied posts this week, I have plenty to share with you. This weekend was eventful in every way, more on that soon.
