Following my heart over the rulebook

50mm lens in the golden hour

There are some main technical principles in photography; some of which I try to adhere to and others of which have probably passed me by. What the 'rules' can't dictate to me is whether I like a picture. At the weekend we went out in the dying hours of light for a bit of a jaunt with just the 50mm lens to see what we could see. I'm sharing these shots because I love them, they make my heart say 'ahhh' and it makes no odds to me if they go against every law of photography known to humankind. You like what you like.
