I can't help but to yearn for a handful of summer basics that can be worn in various ways in the warmer weather. A light cotton blouse is the first item I've acquired. I love the soft floating fabric and the way the pattern is so subtle yet enough to stop it looking plain. The tiny lacing to the cuffs and neckline prevent it looking so stark. I'm wearing the blouse with some old favourites; skinny jeans and long boots (it wasn't all that warm) with my faithful cross-body bag. For the warmer days to come I'm planning to wear it with a pair of comfy shorts, sandals and my perfect straw hat.
