You know how much I love sturdy footwear! Although I already own a small but growing collection; I'm sharing my favourite pick of ladies boots which I would dearly love to get my hands (or more aptly feet) on.
Oh ankle boots, you steal my heart! I'm a firm believer that the right pair of ankle boots can serve you well for pretty much all occasions. A small block heel or wedge can be perfectly practical for a countryside walk on a dry day; ideal for taking you round town on a shopping trip and equally for teaming with a dress to eat out. Multi purpose. A win all round!
Now, if it's really rather cold you have two obvious options. You can up the insulation or up the length. A fluffy lining to a pair of ankle or calf length boots can make the world of difference, a touch of luxury and comfort. Personally, I'm feeling lured into opening my purse for a gorgeous pair of knee length boots or maybe even over the knee boots. Team with a warm mini skirt and tights or thigh socks for a fun look or with skinny jeans and a tweed jacket for a smart, casual countryside style.
