All the things I did

One day I'll write a post about all the things I meant to do, but didn't. It would be rather extensive. Each week goes by and ideas get left by the wayside. Things I meant to do but never got round to. Places I meant to go, meals I meant to cook, presents I meant to buy. The list would be long.
However, I could equally write an extensive piece about all the spontaneous things that happened instead. All the random trips out, the things I bought on impulse and the times something unexpected happened and we ran with it.

They say that life is what happens while you're busy making plans.
