Waiting

Just a shot I snapped from the passenger seat in the car. Tree lined roads have a special feel to them, the snow clad branches were unmissable.
The winds have returned, the darkness will not give way to light just yet.
I'm waiting for when evenings have some residual daylight left to enable roaming from indoors. I want to wander in the garden, I want to run down the lanes, I want to sit on the bench and read a book. These are precisely the things that we shall be doing once able as well as venturing to and fro to the allotment.
I'm yet to see any clumps of snowdrops yet or blossom. Have you?
