Cast your minds back to the start of February.... In the midst of another extremely cold snap. These pictures have not yet surfaced but still remain relevant enough to share.
Can you see those hundreds - thousands of birds? We were agog to hear and see such a spectacle! Such a privilege. It was impossible to see properly - and I should mention it was spitting with rain almost the whole time which made for terrible conditions to be taking photographs.
I think these were bladder campion before autumn finished them off.
