Another patch

We've decided to take on another half allotment. Bit daft really as that will bring out patch to 500m2 but there you go. The plot became available after two years of near total neglect by it's owner who barely visited at all during that time. People have such good intentions and often it's far beyond their capacity. I said no, we shouldn't. After all, it's a lot more land and we might overstretch ourselves.
And then I said, actually yes. I do want my own flower patch to grow masses of blooms.
So now we have another patch. Oops.
So far it's been strimmed and rotivated, C has built a gate and fenced it. I've formed a rough layout plan in my head for the area and have paths of woodchip in mind as there is a plentiful supply of them to take from.
I'll load up the perennial beds with muck and leave the annual beds without but picking out stones at every opportunity.

Next year should be colourful.
