The ferns are on the turn. On a recent wander through woodland we found ourselves in the midst of a colour palette; green, yellow, copper and gold. They're looking fantastic.
A bird of prey landed on top of this pole but I had the wrong lens on to capture it well but the fact I can just about make it out still makes me happy.
Some sort of Michaelmas daisy aster growing wild. I've not seen this before.
