Brightness

Just a few snaps today from the lovely sunshine we enjoyed yesterday. Our empty walk went perfectly; instead of the busy gauntlet from our door we drove a couple of miles to the reliably quiet place and didn't see a sausage. Mission accomplished.

So many lovely flowers in bloom, makes me feel super cheerful.
Spot the gatecrashing white butterfly which flew through my shot!

Above, the crab apple blossom is well worth a look and sniff.
Below, cherry blossom is like a feathery boa against the blue sky. I wanted to stroke it and wrap a branch of it around my shoulders.

Above, it's Rowan, also known as Mountain Ash in flower.

 Herb Robert.
Two small tortoiseshell butterflies were having a rendez-vous. They landed to take a breather before having another go. Bless.

C spotted the first speckled wood of the year. Not being such a geek as me he guessed at speckled brown which was so close!!!

Take care and make the best of another week,
Sophie
