Lifted

What a change it is today from when these pictures were taken. The rain is back but this time it's most welcome. However, last week while the sun shone down I reached for a dainty white dress to wear; lifting my spirits and raising a smile. I don't think it took an outing at all last year and possibly the one before that either but even though perhaps I ought to either part with in before it looks any more inappropriate, the rebel in me says fuck that! I'll wear the dress if I want to. If covid-19 has taught us anything it's that you never know when your situation may change, the rug pulled from under your feet. The time is now! Wear the dress, dance in the sun or rain.

The delicate lace of the cow parsley matches in oh-so-well with my dress. Although I couldn't wear anything quite so fragile for it would catch and tear within such a short space of time.

Take good care of yourselves,
Sophie
