Tuppence a bag

There's bountiful activity from the little birds all across the land. We've noticed so many coming in and out of our garden; the two bird feeders with the mixed seed were emptied in three days flat which is incredible.
Chaffinch action.

Buzzard soaring. Actually we see buzzards all the time round here, they must be doing very well. For the first time last week we saw a red kite above the allotments which was brilliant.
Robin.
Kestrel preening on a pylon. Kestrels are prevalent round here too. Their distinctive hovering makes them identifiable in flight.
And two geese (presumably) who have fallen out and are sulking.

Take care,
Sophie
