On one hand

Listening to the news this week it just strikes me as more 2020 madness. On one hand more places are opening, there's encouragement to get out (and spend money), there's schools back and workers being dragged back to offices. Then I hear it'll be restricted to groups of 6 socially from Monday, as virus cases are going up.

Oh righty then. Because that makes sense.

I've tried to keep a low profile, not venturing out to places with other people, and the first time I ate out was at the weekend for a pre-arranged get together of four. It didn't involve any busy mixing and felt suitably distant, if non-essential.

It feels like a mixed message for everyone, though I'll continue as we have been, with minimal contact with the outside world. I can't see how things are going to change for the better if we keep moving the goal posts (and not exactly explaining what the goal is).

Here's to a bit more distance.

Take care,

Sophie
