The garden in mid February

The garden might look a fright from a distance but determined to find the positives everywhere I had a snoop to see what's happening up close.
The first viburnum flowers are staring to open.

Our amateur rose pruning is likely to come back to bite but this one has new shoots
Photinia red robin looking lively with plenty of new shoots and even flowers
 Alstromeria
 Micro leaves from micro buds

 Peony shoots!
 Hellebores in flower tucked away.
These are the only (and pitiful) violas after deergate. You can see the tulips starting to come through

 Sweet Williams clumping up nicely.
So much to see if you look closely.
Take care,
Sophie
