The first drops

How quickly the snowdrops have shot up and bloomed this winter! The surprise of seeing them crept up on me and jumped out unexpectedly. A trip out just to see the carpets of them was in order over the weekend. 











 The white of snowdrops and yellow of aconites is a crisp and zesty combination.


It's given me a boost to see the winter colour in action.
