In love with summer grasses
Monday, July 04, 2016
Forgive me my indulgence. At this time of year especially my fascination overflows for the simplest
I love the long grasses which sway in the breeze, jangle their seeds and jostle for position.
I love to crouch down low and peer through the tall stems to see the world in a different way. The hundreds of varieties of grass make it so interesting; something to see. Explore. Study.
I like to watch the light dance behind the wispy ears; the world drifts on by while the grass stays stoically rooted in the ground.

I had to laugh at the Twitter comment about it encouraging immoral behaviour!
ReplyDeleteI like the swaying of the grass, much the same as a field of wheat it's very soothing.
You done well to get the focus to stay on the head of the grasses ,looks a lovely place to walk if you are not suffering from hay fever ! There are apparently a 160 + species of grass in uk I for one will not try and identify them, but as Hazelxjoy said so soothing to watch swaying in the wind.
ReplyDeleteI love to hear your comments xx
