This week has been something of a trial, I can tell you. Bring on the weekend and a clean slated Monday for goodness' sake.
I could write essays upon essays of wheat's been bothering me but for the sake of regaining my sanity I'll move on instead of regaling my tales o' woe. Here's the second part of the Titchwell snaps.
I spotted this blue wonder and it reminded me of statice.

Of course the inland paths lead out to a wonderful beach which stretches to the horizon. Little grassy dunes seemed to have been dug up by rabbits. Do rabbits really want to live on the beach? I found this quite implausible but maybe it's much like living on sandy soil like the Brecks.
More greenery I didn't recognise.I'd bet below is a type of spurge.
On Sunday we found ourselves destined for the North Norfolk Coast, somewhere that we rarely visit any more. A family meal was on the agenda at Briarfields which was delightful (go for the roast beef for the most divine, melt in the mouth meat!) and as the clouds blew away it made for the perfect opportunity to stroll off a token amount of food consumed. From the hotel we could see the sea and it was that direction in which we set off.
As the grassy track became more wild the couple of dragonflies hovering around became more and more until I realised I'd never seen so many in one place. Enthralling but of course infuriating as a photography enthusiast; the nanosecond for which they land is never long enough to snap a good shot. I managed a few.
It's a birdwatcher's paradise, Titchwell. With my compact little camera and prime lens it would have been clear that I wasn't there on an avian hunt. This buzzard caught my eye.
