Knowing how pretty the backdrop would be, I wanted to take some outfit pictures in the bluebell woods but the weather was just so cold. Looking back, I have been in bare legs at this time in previous years but I was adamant that thermal tights and a thick jumper were a must for this time. It's not the most exciting of looks but at least I'm warm and comfortable. 

Big muddy boots keep it a particularly down to Earth ensemble as we had to navigate some distinctly boggy ground. The rain from a week or so ago (and all winter) had lingered in the ground and with all the extra visitors the blooms bring in it all gets churned up in a squelchy mess. Who cares about mud-splashed tights when you get a view like this?
