Bluebells and mirth
Monday, April 25, 2016
That magical time is upon us when the forest floor is covered in beautiful swathes of blue. I can't believe my eyes when I see so many millions, or billions... they enthral and excite me. My inner child dances in circles and laughs with joy, enjoys mirth. It's a special time of year. Sometimes I wish I could bottle it to preserve it for a miserable day when I need it's wonder the most then I realise my photographs are all I need; looking back through pictures is a treat.
The startling blue haze is all consuming of the floor in the woodland; sweeping under trees and flooding further than the eye can see.
Such delicate frilly bells in blue; a concerto in ringing out for the climax of spring. Ding dong!
Excuse me while I relish in the best of spring <3 p="">Sophie3>

It's so nice to see your display of bluebells reminds me so much of a wood near by which i usually visit this time of year unfortunately having just got out of hospital will not be able to see,so thank you for cheering me up Chris x
ReplyDeleteNot even a hint of that up here in Northumberland yet!
ReplyDeleteThey are native ones too, not their Spanish cousins that dominate round here
