Straightforward
Thursday, December 19, 2019
Someone thanked me for being so straightforward. I accepted their thanks and thought to myself that life would be so much easier if we kept things simple. Say what you mean, state the facts and stick to principles; it's an easy concept. No moving the goalposts, negotiating hidden agendas or u-turning.
There's really no benefit to such behaviour.
Saying please and thank you is another easy one to try applying to all situations. I thank people for their time; time is so precious and to have been a recipient of someone else's attention is a privilege.
I don't know about you but the imminent approach of a new decade has prompted me to consider my resolutions but with gusto. Has there ever been a better time to implement change? Leaving behind the weight and baggage of the 2010's...
Reminds me of those ruffly caps older ladies wear swiming.
I can't explain how much I love photographing dead weeds in good light.
Take care,
Sophie
