The berries are out in force and hips. There are still a few little wildflowers in bloom.

A den! Or set! My imagination has conjured up a little family of badgers or foxes who are living down there. I hope so. In reality it could well be more rabbits.


Acorns galore and some unexected insects. I'm unsure of this big chap below, a hornet maybe?



Leaves are on the turn.


A swarm of insects writhing in the sunshine. They certainly had a zest for life about them.




And so it continues.
