Top – charity shop, shorts – EBay, necklace- Select, sunglasses – QD, boots – Yull, bracelets – gifts
You would be forgiven for thinking that these pictures were taken at the height of summer, but in fact they were taken on Sunday. Having taken a look at the five day forecast (I am forever checking the weather, quite obsessively in fact) I knew that the weekend was due to be unseasonably warm followed by temperatures really taking a dive during the week. This is most likely the last chance for shorts and a vest top this year so I'm glad I had the chance to wear my new loose top which seems to be the epitome of Autumn, although sadly not warm enough for a crisp day.
Instead of buying a brand spanking new camera I have decided in the meantime that I may start using husband’s camera so I’ve got to get to grips with the extra bells and whistles. He offered to take a few pictures of me trying to get the 'blurry background' that just wont materialise on my camera. It works, but the chances are that I need a new remote if I want to operate it solo.
We took a walk around the footpaths around the fields and farm tracks around Hingham. It’s sometimes rather therapeutic to head somewhere that you never usually go just for a total change of scene. It was lovely to take some pictures of what we saw, plus a few to be wheeled out when I just want to waffle about something generic.
Walk the plank
Holding hands
Stubble
Glint of sun
Lush grass
The beaten track
Over the style
Free range chickens
I got carried away with my old bridge camera so I’ll have to pick up the SLR another time.
