Autumn brights

I just don’t feel like myself with straight hair anymore. When I was in my teens I craved poker straight hair, while all I could see was a knotty, frizzy bush and before I had heard of hair straighteners. My hairdresser always straightens it for me as I'm pretty sure she hates my usual carefree style, and although I do appreciate how under control it looks but I feel like it's not really 'me' at all anymore.
This tartan skirt was one I wore a bit last year and I can’t believe I almost forgot about it; the shape, colour and weight make it so easy to wear. I remember Maria mentioning how much she likes to wear brown and orange together in autumn, so I couldn't resist popping on these bright tights to really brighten the outfit. Admittedly, the mustard as well may be a step too far for some tastes but I'm relishing the addition.
Have a great week everyone!
Sophie

That's a great jumper, in fact I love the whole outfit, colourful and fun.
ReplyDeleteI hate myself with dead straight hair, too. I couldn't do without my GHDs 12 years ago but I don't think I've used them in years! x
You do look very different with straight hair, it looks lovely, but it doesn't seem as 'you' as your normal style.
ReplyDeleteWhat is very 'you' is this skirt, I always think of you when I see tartan now :) It's perfect for the season, I love it!
Your skirt is beautiful and I love the addition of the bright tights <3
