Drawing straws

The warm weather has
been appearing in fits and starts, the wind seems to have got up
something wicked the last few days, not to mention the sporadic
downpours and temperatures dwindling in the low teens. However, in a
sunny spell at the weekend I dressed for summer with all the optimism
that the hot weather is just around the corner. This dress is one
that caught my eye with it's almost sixties style geometric print, in
my head it was more of a boxy tunic but in reality it's the very
opposite. I rather like the fit, it's more of a traditional style
summer dress. A little bit of a summer dream has come true with my
accessories! I'm in love with my straw
hat*, it's perfect; a good fit, a sturdy but floppy wide brim...
ah. This is going to be worn a lot through summer! I'm pretty sure
you'll never guess where it's from so I'll spill the beans and tell
you it's from Mountain
Warehouse .
My straw bag is cute as
pie, non? The handles are sturdy and the lining is secure so overall
it's far more robust than I initially gave it credit for, making it a
most practical choice while the sun is shining.
What summer dreams do
you have hidden away?
Sophie
Thanks to Mountain Warehouse for sending me the straw hat to review
