Once upon a frosty morning

Once upon a frosty morning the sun rose over the horizon, flooding the land with rich orange light and turning the glazed landscape into a glittering spectacle.
Much as I adore the spring and summer warmth, it has to be said that the stark monochrome beauty of winter mornings has a certain allure.
It's daft isn't it, how heading out into the frozen air can make you want to sing (a little like hills are alive - except flat old Norfolk isn't the best fit) and the warmth from the sun visibly makes you break into a smile.
I have a little favour to ask.... Someone allegedly nominated this blog for a UK Blog Award and I would love your vote in the photography category. If you are feeling like humouring me then cast your vote here and let me know so I can say thank you. I know the competition is stiff but nevertheless I'm grateful to be a part of things.
You lot are amazing and I'm ridiculously happy that anyone cares to drop by!
