Reach for the light

Wednesday, May 24, 2017

Recent years have shown the best and worst of human nature with numerous stories making headlines worldwide and shockingly, so many that now fall under the radar. It's beyond doubt that atrocities have snowballed from occasional to everyday. The threat looms like a cloud becoming larger and darker and swallowing up the sky with no end in sight.
I've got no answer.
Nobody seems to have an answer.

From my personal point of view I feel it's best to carry on as every day, reflecting on things but continuing to live for the moment. When life is short, as it proves to be, it would be a shame to succumb to the negativity. I can appreciate that this approach isn't for everyone, but it works for me.

Reach for the light.

  1. I see lots of awful things on a daily basis, but this is heartbreakung and I feel sick to the stomach,we have armed Police in our shopping centre and for the first time in 30 years I have had training on an imminent attack.
We all have to deal with it now we can,and love our family and friends,we don't know when our time with them will end-I see that every day.
Keep well everyone and stay safe, cherish our loved ones and friends and never take them for granted.
Everyone should be nice to strangers,I try to do a Random Act of Kindness every day, even if it is only a smile or a compliment,or buying a small gift for someone or taking a coffee to a charity collector.
The World can be a beautiful place with lovely people as we know with Sophies posts, but it can also be awful and cruel and depressing and that is how many if us are feeling right now,
