Excellent work

Thank you past-self. She must have popped together a post's worth of pictures and saved it for a rainy day when things hadn't quite materialised. I had hoped for one picture ready to go but here's a whole host. Excellent work past-Sophie.
Over the weekend I took a raft of photograph but with no time set aside to do a jot with them they remain quite superfluous pending at least being transferred to my laptop. However, here's the rest from earlier in October when we visited Redgrave and Lopham Fen near Diss.
Fabulous viburnum opulus I believe.
Below, some unexpected asters in bloom...
And chickweed.?
Bindweed getting everywhere
I woke up in a slump this morning, Mondays are my least favourite part of the week. Especially now the clocks have changed and the darkness descends at four thirty. Trapped in for the winter.
Take care,
Sophie

Well done the Sophie of Autumn past! I groaned at the darkness this morning! Sooo dark!!! That first picture is utterly beautiful with the ruby-like gem hues of those berries!
