We had that lovely little respite from the cold weather the other week and it really felt like we were turning a corner into springtime but now it's back to the icy, cold mornings and temperatures barely rising enough to notice throughout the day. My flower seeds are neatly organised by when they can start being planted. The February segment are trying to lure me into sowing them but I'm mindful that unless they get enough warmth they won't germinate and it will be a waste of time anyway. The greenhouse isn't much warmer than outside at the moment so I hope that in a week or two's time it will feel much more suitable. The seeds I planted a couple of week ago will be checked on by Saturday, hopefully some little sign of life will be found.
