Early February outdoors

Eye to the viewfinder; that's how I've played winter 16-17. Seeking out the tings I like. Yes.
A few highlights from a walk on Saturday. Hopefully you like this lot too.
Moss. Isn't it fascinating? You can pull of tufts of the stuff in sturdy little clumps and it boggles the mind where it comes from.
Below: buzzardry. They have a piercing call which (now I can recognise) is unmistakable.
It won't be long before the new growth for spring takes centre stage. Bring on the crocuses, aconites, tulips and daffodils!
