A couple of weeks ago Jarrold  hosted a bloggers event as part of their Le Jardin season, showcasing the best of spring.
We were treated to some absolutely scrummy eats (they actually looked too good to eat but for the sake of being polite I managed to get through quite a lot, purely to be polite you understand) and had a chance to mingle, there was only one face I recognised (Michelle) but I got talking to a few other ladies too and it was nice. Holly has a fabulous blog and it seems we have plenty in common.

We then got split up into two groups, our lot got to delve into the women's fashion department first. After a little chat about the brands and ranges stocked at Jarrold we got to play around with some key pieces, making our own outfits and getting up close and personal with the shop floor.
I put together a few looks which caught my eye.

In my post 'Top ten things to know about Jarrold'  I touched on the scope of the women's fashion department. I have to say, you really wont get your head round what is here until you come in and see for yourself. There are so many brands here that you wont find on the rest of the high street and nowhere else in Norwich. If you're after something to wear that you wont see another woman walking down the street in (we've all been there, ouch) then you can rest easy knowing that Jarrold have plenty to choose from.

As I mentioned previously, the shop floor is kept in immaculately tidy condition with everything displayed in an inviting manner and a generous amount of space for easy browsing.
There were some extra pretty displays as part of the Le Jardin event and really made me smile.

I have to say I felt out of my depth my a long way when we went along to the ground floor beauty hall, amongst so many beauty bloggers I stuck out like a sore thumb!
It was great to be talked through the various brands' counters with the services available and the new releases covered. There is a genuine buzz of interest from the staff in their products and it is inspiring. I'm always one of those people to ask staff for advice and really appreciate their knowledge and experience.

We all had a brilliant evening and I'd like to thank Jarrold for putting on the event for us! They gave us two goodie bags each, a Jarrold one and an extra Jo Malone bag with some samples of their heavenly fragrances. Not only that but they even baked some darling cupcakes for us as well. I'm sure I'll be reviewing some of the goodies I received too, so watch this space.
