Well hello again, I've been so busy having fun over the weekend I never even opened my laptop until late last night. The sun shone, the wind dropped and my spirits soared. I've been out and about, thrown upside down and spun round and round.
I've had these shorts over a year now I think but they virtually never come out as they happen to be a strange fit; too loose for on the waist but hang oddly on my hips.


This outfit is a combination of two recent outfits containing the blouse and shorts which it became apparent really belong together. The choirboy blouse from Vero Moda last year (or was it the year before?) is an absolute failsafe; no matter how bloated I might be it always looks just as chilled out. I love the minimalist look with the crochet collar, it's so different to anything else I own. For a local Twitter meetup recently I wore these shorts (along with a similar blouse), then Maria  tweeted a link to some hot pink Asos shorts which looked pretty identical to my lilac ones and it reminded me again to wheel mine out for another wear, I do adore their lilac colour but hot pink would look.......HOT!


New handbag alert! It's a recent purchase from Aluna J   when I popped along to their open evening last week (post on that coming very soon, you'll love it believe me) as is the 'love' bangle which regrettably isn't all that visible but I'll try to get a better picture soon.

New shoes too? Darn right. These wedges* are from Clarks; Orleans Jazz is the name of this style. I love the delicious orange leather upper alongside the patterned wedge heel, it's the perfect combination of being practical yet awesome.

The return of the orange Barry M lipstick which I'm never too sure about but once in a blue moon I decide to wear. I need more lipsticks and stains, fact.
