We've reached that time of year when the ground is boggy absolutely everywhere and going for a walk means dirty shoes. There are puddles everywhere and you can soon tell which pairs of shoes are less than water tight; which is what I've discovered about my go-to ankle boots as well as my trusty long brown boots too, such a nuisance! One of them needs re-soling but I'd rather that than have to part with them altogether.
