Winter sunshine on the cusp of spring
Thursday, March 08, 2018
It hasn't been all snowclouds lately; looking back to the last weekend if February we had deep blue skies and sunshine, albeit with a particularly cold feel. The fresh air and brightness always holds an appeal so heading out for an hour or two to lap it up was in order.
A very fine feather. I would guess swan due to it's waterside presence, though guess goose otherwise.
Sadly the ground is so boggy and wet that flooding cuts off so many walks at this time of year. We just can't get as many places as we'd like. It's been worse in recent years.
At this point we could have easily been tricked into believing that spring was getting underway (little did we know).
Take care,
Sophie
