Sometimes you just have to stand firm and wait. I have spent more time over the last year speaking out, speaking up for myself and drawing lines in the sand.
It takes so much energy; all the continuity, all the considering, all the weighing up.
The waves of 'how it's always been' come crashing in with persistent force;  washing in like the tide and scrub away at anything put in their path.
Times feel tough.
