A little loosestrife
Wednesday, September 26, 2018
Scrolling back through August's folder of photographs I discovered some that I'm sure never made it to the cold face of the blog. I suspect I forgot about them or forgot I've already shared them. Either way, here's a look back to wildflowers of weeks gone by. Here is some lovely purple loosestrife which bloomed with vigour along river banks. In a book I recently read they were described as long purples.
Water mint also flourished, with bees clamouring over the flowers.
Seeds galore, ready to be set free on a breeze. I suspect they're long gone after the tail end of hurricane battered the country.
Take care,
Sophie
