Summer round up
Tuesday, October 21, 2014A long overdue summer round up of all my favourite posts from the best season of the year for me. In no particular order the following happened:
I realised boho was my look for summer, went to Weeting heath where we didn't actually spot their stone curlews, dined out at The Norfolk Mead hotel, lost my lovely Grandma on a 'perfect' summer's day and went to the river to pray.
We discovered Hoe Rough, I had a day out with Mum at Hickstead, visited Sandringham Country Park, wore orange for the first time in a good while, took a walk on the beach at sunset and walked barefoot on the sand, sat amongst wild flowers and took plenty of walks in the evening.
We enjoyed our first festival, I wore my festival style outfit, we enjoyed dragonflies at Upton Broad fen where I wore a cropped jumper. A little black dress was worn in a field, then a green dress in the barley, went to Sculthorpe Moor and wore a pastel shift dress which may have been a tad short
In a departure from the norm I styled up a tee, took part in a proper photo shoot and ran through the long grasses like a wild thing
We found the most beautiful sights at Sparham Pools, saw the most fabulously funny seals, wore a vintage dress to the seaside and realised it's been a whole year since I renamed the blog.
Inevitably, on a hot day we went to the beach and froze, we explored Strumpshaw fen where I wore a casual summer's outfit, danced on the beach while other people behaved amusingly and supported the household cavalry.
These have been my personal favourite posts but that's just over half, wow I've done a lot and not even got round to sharing it all. My aim for summer was to get the max out of the time and honestly I think I did it; what a brilliant time!
What were your favourite moments of yours? And mine?
