Spawn again
Thursday, April 04, 2019
Somehow I've never been in the right place at the right time to take any pictures of frogspawn! A couple of weeks ago we returned to the forest, the one I commented had a feeling of the Everglades and funnily enough that large puddle had oodles of frogspawn within. What a sight! I was particularly pleased.
There's still a false start for spring; another cold spell with frosty mornings.
Leaves aren't out yet and the trees are starting to look like the odd ones out now the grass is growing.
Spot the brimstone butterfly!
I look forward to appreciating foxgloves more this year. Our garden has more than before and I've seen so many in the woods I think it will be a bumper year.
Take care,
Sophie

I love seeing Frogspawn! It reminds me of our amazing pond when I was young! They always remind me of our disgusting cat Caesar who used to scoop it out with his paw and eat it! He was always coming in with frog legs hanging out of his mouth!
