A diversion

It was on our diversion a couple of weeks ago that I realised how much benefit it gave me to walk a different path. The vantage point was entirely different and lead to a new perspective on a familiar area.
Light! Let there be more of it.
A pleasant pheasant taking flight
Some of the megapuddles
I think these are called 'snowberries'. Not edible but curious to examine. A marshmallow style make up to the body of the berry.
The road dipped, the water filled it up.
I love floury brackets just peppering the old silver birch.
Take care,

I expect there wont be much more fungi around soon, with the colder temperatures setting in.

It seems to have been a brilliant year for fungus (even if the rest of the year has been anything but brilliant)
