Wrap up warm

Wow, the bright skies on Sunday completely lifted my spirits; it was still, cool but absolutely beautiful. Ditching any form of chores, we took a ride out to local woodland for a circuit in the fantastic morning light. I should have thought about dog walkers, which of course turned out in their droves to empty their beasts and get the exercise out of the way, so it wasn't the quiet and tranquil walk it could have been but never mind.

The winter coat I re-discovered last year has already been worn a couple of times this season and I'm keen to get more use out of it this year too. I layered and wore a lovely scarf along with the fingerless gloves which serve me so well. Nice and toasty.
First outing for the the super cute green knitted tank top that Hazel gave me last year, it's such a fantastic colour.
Virtually no sight of my turtle neck and the navy shirt. I bought the shirt last year from a charity shop but I can't remember whether I bought it with myself or C in mind but I'm more likely to wear it than him anyway so unless he puts up some resistance I'm keeping it.
The temperatures are heading into a steady low for the foreseeable so wrap up warm.

Take care,
Sophie

  1. Sunday was glorious wasn't it? Not so much this week, it's blinkin' freezing out there!
I'm glad you like the tank top. It looks lovely with blues and grey hues. And I'd keep the shirt too :)
