Lockdown
Tuesday, March 24, 2020
Good morning everyone on the very first day of lockdown. When the news broke last night it was a simultaneous shock yet confirmation of what we saw coming but nevertheless it's going to take a lot of adjusting to. Kezzie wrote a great post yesterday on this.
As an 'outdoorsy' person this is something I will have to adapt to; not just dropping everything and heading out. The finer points of the rules are a little hazy in terms of where I can go, for how long and doing what but we'll see. I'm grateful for our garden which will be a refuge for me and I can carry on growing in the greenhouse.
There's so much I can be getting on with both indoors and out.
Of course, things will take a lot of adapting to, but best make the most out of what we have. I firmly believe that through all of our concerted efforts to stay away from each other and to support one another though this challenging time it's going to make immesurable difference.
I want to keep posting and while I still have images from 'out' and there will be plenty to talk about from home and the garden, we'll see how the content goes!!
Take care,
Sophie
