There's been a distinct lack of clarity on the rules of going out. While it's been a longterm passion of mine to walk where others don't stray, there's been a bit of frowning upon taking a journey to somewhere else. Yet I've always been going to these places and I know they will be empty or far quieter than walking from my door. We've noticed people out walking who we've never seen before, unrecognisable dogs and even someone taking up daily cycling. All of a sudden we're all keen to cash in on our daily quota of freedom.

Almost not another soul to be seen except on the final track back to the car, but a good wide berth was still possible. Will we be able to get away from everything again this spring? Who knows.

Take care,

  1. We went for a walk really late today, around 4.45pm and there were quite a few people and their dogs there which was annoying! Yes, definitely more people out!

  2. I've heard that we're not meant to be driving to places to get out and about but that seems mad to me. I have a daily walk around the farm so I don't see anyone obviously (no public footpaths) which is really lucky, but what are you supposed to do if you live in a built up area? Madness.
