Just when you think that spring might be round the corner the upturn lapses straight back into the pits of winter. Snow, storms and such desolate days. The howling wind in the early hours wakes me and my heart races and hands shake. Cars abandoned in snow drifts on motorways and yet snowdrops dare peek above the mossy undergrowth. I hate this time of year, I really do, it makes me so stressed as well as gloomy.
