First week

Ah the clocks have changed and we now find ourselves in the realm of lovely light evenings, how wonderful! 





I wonder why when so many other trees and plants are named after their fruit the blackthorn has sloes?
Scrubby wildflowers I should be able to name but I really can't.
We cannot detect a scent from gorse flowers.
Spot the deer!




Red dead nettles and speedwell...


I love to see leaves unfurling
