On the feeder

Sunday, April 26, 2020

It was when I took my camera to the pond in an attempt to photograph the frogspawn that while I was busy trying to focus in on the water's surface I heard some faint sounds coming from the bird feeder. Not eight feet away, was a lovely little bluetit pecking away on the fat balls. Having been half hidden by the various large grasses on the pond's edge I had managed to stay undetected by my new feathered friend who carried on feeding as I turned my camera to it's new target.
What a cheerful little birdie, checking around for signs of trouble, myself not included.

Superseded by a lady blackbird, I continued to snap away from my area of cover.

Take care,
Sophie
